Sequential read speeds reach up to 800 MB/s, making game loading and level transitions nearly seamless. Not sure what the write speed is for saving recordings in 4k60, probably good; re'vsearch

looks like I paid $35 for this back in January, no surprise prices are higher now, but a reference point for anyone looking at getting this. No issues on Switch 2, but do wish I got the 512gb vs 256

Aside from the fact that read and write speeds are generally different, those speeds can only be reached with a device that supports SD Express, which is almost nothing, other than the Switch 2. In a device designed for regular micro SD cards, this one may actually perform worse than some normal micro SD cards.

With the prices of even normal sd cards going up, this is a good deal on a 256gb Express Card for the Switch 2. I got one earlier for cheaper and it works great with my Switch 2

I just got a Switch 2, I'll likely be 60/40 on physical/digital games. Should I pull the trigger on this if I plan on downloading a handful of digital games? Or is the 256GB of internal storage sufficient.

So we live in a world where express cards are cheaper than normal micro sd, and the Xbox expanded memory is "a good deal." WTAF?

Anyone know a good, relatively cheap express reader?
