Anybody have these exact models? Been looking at these for awhile now. But the more recent reviews on Costco scare me. They could just happen to be isolated incidents that happened around the same time. Like bad install people or something. But curious if the leaks and whatnot are actually a common issue.
I have this set, except mine is the gas dryer. I got them from Costco for $1700 3 months ago. It's been great, the only issue I have had is with the dryer, but it is because my laundry area is so small. It doesn't have a lot of breathing room, so my clothes smell like they were in a toaster. If I leave the laundry room doors open while drying, the smell isn't there. Something to consider if you don't have a full size laundry room. Other than that, very happy with this set. I also added the storage pedestal and the lg sidekick pedestal in case the washer ever breaks.

I have 2018 version of these with the pedestal washer and dryer drawer. They have been phenomenal so far. The only issue I've had is the steam on the dryer stopped working after I moved from Portland to Albuquerque in 22. I've replaced parts, but it never recovered. I strictly blame being banged around in the move for this. They've been worked hard from the time we had 5 children still in the house to being empty nesters now. I use the dishwasher pod cleaning hack once a week and there is no mold in the washer seal. We've had Huskies and Great Pyrenees the whole time along with 4 females with long hair at one point and I only ever had to clean out the washer lint trap 4 times a year at most. The online deal for all 4 pieces in black is $1919 with the discounts. That about what I paid in 2018. Highly recommend these.

The dryer is out of stock for me (Florida). Does anyone know if they ever get restocked?

I'm sure you're a Maytag and speedqueen worshipper but they certainly don't even make fridges eh?

Bought the older equivalent washer in 2013 in white with same settings and features at the time from Bestbuy. Never had a single issue with it. It's still running 13 years later. Ours the seal is slightly moldy since we didn't keep the door open. Highly recommend doing this unless they have a fan to dry out like GE. I bought a Samsung front load one for our rental in 2020 and that one is good but LG puts a little extra thought into their engineering you can see with certain parts.

Dryer is also LG from 2004. Now 22 years never had a repair or problem. Also still running. Fridge also from Lg in 2004. When we moved into our current home fridge it's been in garage. No issues whatsoever

Very reliable appliances and would recommend. I know speed queen is considered more reliable but for a big box brand and a design that looks much nicer LG is very good

I just got this combo from Costco for $200 more. So glad Costco price matches Costco if the price change happens within 30 days of the purchase. I'm getting $200 back!

I lived here 17 years prior to the PDX relocation. Wish we would have stayed in PDX, but wife wanted to comeback after 8 years in the busy city. She had the crappy commute for work for most of the time there, where I had it easy the entire time.

I switched from front load to top load and it's so much better. No more trapped odors in the seals and so much easier to load/unload. The LG top load machines are very solid.
I would never return to top load. All of them leave residue on your clothes and don't clean stains well. I've never had an issue with mold or odors on a front load for 20+ years with them, but I know how to read instructions and understand why the door has a stop position for air and how to run a clean cycle regularly.

Stop lying. They are two different companies so you can't lump them together. Samsung makes absolutely awful appliances, but LG products usually one of the best rated.

LG laundry i've been good with. The only fail is hard water and poor upkeep.

But the fridges, I would avoid as the cost of imported compressors kill the value of repair.

What do you mean by "The only fail is hard water and poor upkeep" - if I have hard water, the machine is going to fail on me?
