The SK30 is a compact 21700 tactical flashlight that keeps the SK40 family feel while shifting toward easier carry and simpler operation. It puts out about 3000 lumens on turbo, uses the same LED as the SK40, and the dual tail switches make it more user friendly than the SK40's tail and side switch setup. The smaller straight tube head should lean more toward flood than throw. The main caution is that Amazon flags it as frequently returned, and Sofirn's long term reliability gets mixed real world feedback.
EDC flashlight carriers who want a lighter pocket light, because the smaller straight-tube body is easier to carry and the dual tail switches are more user friendly.
Users who prefer tail-switch operation, because the dual tail switches make the light a joy to use.
Buyers wanting a 21700 tactical light with strong output, because it is rated around 3000 lumens on turbo.
Buyers who want a model with a side switch, because this design uses dual tail switches instead.
Shoppers who need maximum throw, because the smaller head and straight-tube design likely produce more flood and less throw.
People relying on long-term reliability, because the lights can fail within about a year.
