The gel that you bought is so much easier to work with than this stuff.

I find that the gel is a little slower to dry, I guess because it goes on thicker.

The gel does seem to take longer to cure. The pro is it seems to last longer before drying out. I have issue with regular super glue drying out after opening and by the time I go use it again it's dried. Don't have the problem with gel type.

How long does this one last before it dries out, anyone know?

personally i like gel more than liquid for 3d prints, just stays where you put it... makes life a bit easier.

something like this (not on sale currently)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OAAU...tle_4&th=1

for larger stuff, or things like foam dart blaster tubes... E6000 all day.

2nding E6000 as by far the best for 3d prints I've used. This type of superglue will off-gas and create a white cloudy haze all around where you put it that ranges from difficult to impossible to remove.

I'm a big fan of E6000. I apply it to both surfaces, let it dry until it's slightly tacky, then clamp them together. It has different uses from superglue.
