I have one of these and do not recommend even at this price point. The top is a rolled up array of super thin hollow aluminum rectangle tubing held together on either side by the plastic linkages that pull out so easily. The legs do not bear any weight and do not hold their lock state, and the bag it comes in must be made by kleenex.

I bought it and I feel the same as you do. The way the folding frame gets "rigid" is laughable, it has two tubes that are very flimsy that rotate out and clip into plastic clips on each side. Plus the table is not very tall, only really appropriate as a side table to camping chairs, not for using as a cook prep station.
