Just a note on these, if you are used to the older v6/v7/v8, the v11 outsize is almost 8lbs, while your v6 was 4.5lbs. That's almost double the weight. This machine (v11 outsize) has great suction and battery life, but know what you're getting into.

There's also a Libino on the woot page for $70, *don't get suckered in*, it looks like a Dyson but it will spit dust back out all over your floors.

What happens if I have a V 11 that is dying. Do all the other attachments work with this one? Can I just use the non-wide head and have a lighter vacuum?

"all" the attachments will "fit", but depending on the voltage/wattache on the attachment it may or may not "spin". For example the laser head from the v15 will fit but will not spin. As long as the voltage/wattage of your attachment falls within spec, it'll spin. The "quick connect" attachments from cordless models with the red snap-in connectors are all interchangeable, size-wise. Attachments from corded vacuums do not fit cordless models. The non-wide head is not appreciably lighter than the wide head.
