I have it against the wall, and a perk I didn't realize was I now have way less CRAP behind the couch because the kids throwing stuff around doesn't result in diving behind the couch anymore.
Plugs are nice, but having a place to put all the controllers is even better. I've done hooks and wall mounts and totes and... well... if you're just gonna "leave them out" this has been ideal.
Two thumbs up, but I wish it was less. That is all.
Community Reviews
This height adjustable sofa table is best as a behind the couch organizer with built in outlets, giving a place for controllers, charging cords, and other clutter. The design works especially well when the couch sits against a wall, and the adjustable feet and rubberized feet help it stay stable even in a walkway. The main drawbacks are price, since it feels expensive for what it is, and fit issues with recliners or baseboard molding that can push it away from the wall. It is a practical space saver if your layout matches the design.
Families keeping controllers and chargers behind a couch, because it reduces clutter and gives cords a dedicated place out of the way.
Living rooms with a couch backed to a wall, because the legs stay out of sight and the table is designed to sit flush there.
Shoppers needing a narrow console behind a shorter couch, because the height-adjustable frame and outlets make it useful without adding side tables.
Homes with recliners, because the table can get shoved into the wall when seats move back.
Rooms with baseboard or quarter-round molding, because the frame can sit about two inches off the wall unless modified.
Households with children, because the similar design can be top-heavy and tip over easily.
