I had this combo but damn porch pirates stole it so I replaced with the green works 80v combo from Costco ($249) and have to say the green works combo is way better value. So if you aren't already in the Ryobi ecosystem or only need a trimmer/blower then I would look at the combo from Costco

I think for lawn, Ryobi does a better job, much more selection at a better price. Btw they have a similar combo with a 4ah battery for $250, I'm sure something else is different but the trimmer I received can also accept attachments and is doing an awesome job. I think the blower is 650 though, it's a little underpowered but will do what most people need with the turbo button.

Get this and the the edger attachment and you're all set. Assuming you already got a 40V motor.

Any reason not to consider this instead at $250? https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../331686774

Ryobi 40V brushless carbon fiber attachment capable trimmer with leaf blower (but 4Ah). Last gen model but seems like a good deal compared to the other options that are either non brushless or not attachment capable.

Thanks for sharing that, I am going to get this $250 kit to replace my old Ryobi 40v pair. These main units show retail at about $200 each separately so this seems like a good combo deal for $250. I have been comparing and contrasting Ryobi blower models and I believe this blower is the third down from the top on CFM power (800, 730, 650). It more than doubles my current 40v unit and should be more than I need. Also the higher end ones appear to use up the batteries more quickly which would be expected.
