In terms of performance, this should be a step above the cheapo Walmart(Onn)/Amazon-branded tablets and a step below the base iPad or the Samsung S10 Lite series. My unc has one and it's fine for watching conspiracies videos on YouTube and browsing the web. Watching a picture-in-picture video while simultaneously rambling on the facebooks is also fine.
Closest competitor to this like another comment alluded to is the Samsung A11+. The A11+ has a better CPU and longer software support while the Lenovo has slightly more RAM and a better display. If someone has a budget of sub $200 and just wants to do media consumption than this Lenovo Idea Tab should be fine.

The Lenovo Idea Tab is a budget 11 inch Android tablet that stands out for its 2.5K screen, included pen, and solid media use. It handles streaming, web browsing, reading, YouTube, and light gaming well, with Balatro, Roblox, Minecraft, GTA San Andreas, and even some retro emulation getting positive real world use. The headphone jack, USB C fast charging, and 8GB RAM make it feel more capable than cheap entry tablets. The main drawback is the MediaTek 6300, which keeps it from feeling fast for heavier multitasking or demanding apps, and the 480 gram weight may matter if you want something very light. A practical pick for everyday entertainment and casual use.
The tablet can handle streaming, web browsing, and light gaming smoothly for everyday use.
The 8GB RAM configuration can feel snappy for common tasks like YouTube and browsing.
The included Lenovo pen support can make the tablet more suitable for note-taking than some Samsung A11+ options.
The tablet supports a USB-C drive workflow for playing VLC movies.
The MediaTek MT6300 performance can feel too slow for web browsing and multitasking.
The bootloader may not be unlockable, which can limit advanced customization options.
The tablet can be heavy enough to make couch handheld use less comfortable.
Lenovo tablet software support can be limited, with at least one update reportedly breaking WPA2 Wi-Fi and never getting patched.

At this point I'm not sure if it's the ram or the processor to blame but the snapiness of those A series tablets were slow af.
I'm talking like switching between apps or closing all the apps. This also with disabling all the animations in the secret dev option menus. That's when I realize those animations were there to hide how slow the tablet was lol.
I'm just going to put it out there... the BLOATWARE and SPYWARE of a Samsung tablet is real. I don't know of another device that is that bad. In addition, their one UI takes power to run... like more power then stock android (which is more like this Lenovo tablet).
But I have stated that if you have about $260 the Poco M1 Tablet seems to be the best value.
But for 150ish... this is a decent deal.
I have zero faith in Samsung's updates, they are more interested in tracking your every move then making sure you have a device that is secure... again, 2025 showed this... I believe the virus LANDFALL was only targeting Samsung devices cause all other devices never had the same vulnerabilities of One UI.
Also, it has been documented that Samsung has been fighting Google with One UI for about a decade.
I have been saying for about 3 years that the slowest CPU you should buy is a G99 (I said this 3 years ago)... this tablet is about 97% in speed compared to the G99... so lets just say it is equal.
You are buying the lowest level CPU/GPU in a low level tablet in today's world. Only the Onn just came out with some new tablets that now run a G99 (not saying much).
But really, this CPU should do the job. You just need to do a few things....
1. Try not to have to many apps opened at the same time.
2. I use the app, "killsapp" and I highly recommend it. It is actually one of just a few pieces of software that I actually did purchase and I use this on my low end and high end tablets.
OK... the price.... $150 for 8GB/128 with a MT6300 is not bad. Is it great... HELL NO, but this is what is available right now.
For $260 I mentioned the POCO M1 tablet, it's specs are just better in every way and I feel just like this lenovo deal is worth the $150 the Poco M1 tablet is worth $260 and the google pixel tablet when on sale is worth $250.
My advice is... if you are on a budget get this tablet but if you can afford like $125 more get the poco m1 tablet. By the way, the poco m1 tablet is a mid range tablet... even a lower mid range tablet.
The only one I know that we can get for a decent price right now is the Poco M1... sold by a Canadian company and some how no tarriffs are paid. It seems that while the tablets are in the US on the way to Canada... if they get sold here in the US, no tariffs are paid... at least that is my take. And it seems to be a decent price for what you get.

At the same time, I believe that you must get at least 8GB of RAM... so 6GB will not cut it... you can spend more money and get a A11+ with 8GB of RAM.
Besides the CPU/GPU... I would think that the Lenovo's screen is better and that 2GB of RAM will be used.
I would have to say the Samsung tablet just edges out this Lenovo one due to the 25% increase in speed but real world results will be minimal.
Honestly, the processor on the base A16 iPad is significantly faster than this.
Just want to point out that yes... MT6300 = G99 = SD695.
So it is equal to a Snap Dragon 695 NOT a Snap Dragon 480 (HUGE DIFFERENCE)

1. You would want to use Firefox, after installed go to google and search "download Ublock Origin Firefox"... it should be the first link. And enable the addon Ublock Origin on firefox. This alone will stop Gigiabtes of data to ever reach your CPU... point is this will increase the speed of internet and web browsing. And i use this with my high end tablets as well and my Microsoft PC.
Chrome (google) does not like ublock origin cause it messes with their advertisement money. I believe it works with Microsoft edge as well... but not possitive since I use FIrefox.
2. I mentioned "KillApps" from playstore. The only app I think is worth it. The free version is also good and the paid version closes system apps that can be closed.
3. Don't have too many apps working at the same time. And don't have too many browser pages opened at the same time.
If you do these three things I think this tablet will serve your purpose of web browsing, email, light gaming, etc...
4. Since you only have 128GB of RAM, you may want to stop downloading so many apps and start going to their webpages. Think of your android tablet as a ChromeBook... they want you to use your web browser for as much as you can.
