Looks like the Shark chargers and similar are $55-$100+ This is no longer deal if you need to spend anything over$25. I see there are some adapters. Can anyone point to which adapter would be a standard adapter for converting a standard inflatable bed electric pump to this SUP? one of the reviewers said they couldnt find anything. Surprised that no reviewers or anyone here have figured out an easier way to make this "easy" to use. I think you need a Halkey-Roberts Air valve adapter.
Pump needs something like 15-20psi an inflatable bed pump puts out 2psi

the electric pumps for inflatable beds are low pressure and won't work.

These cheapies are a good way to see if you like the sport. Even a rental will run you $40 a day. When filled to max psi of 15 or anything over 10psi, don't let them sit on hot cement, asphalt parking lot in the sun as they will blow. I heard one blow last summer and it sounds like a shotgun. If your car doesn't have a cig lighter to plug in the pump, get a dual chamber pump as they are MUCH faster and easier to fill vs a single chamber. Don't forget the pfd. If going downriver where there is decent current or shallows, take off your center fine otherwise you run the risk of ripping it off and when that happens, the fin box is toast and can't be patched. Blue recycling bin time.

From google: You cannot use a standard tire inflator to pump up a Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) because inflators are built for low volume and high pressure, while a SUP requires high volume and low pressure. Using a tire inflator takes an impossibly long time and risks burning out your pump's motor.

I ended up buying a used rechargeable electric pump for a family member who has no car, cost ~$35 and works great. Look around CL for used if cost is a concern.

Slightly cheaper than I paid last year. I took it out many times and it's held up well so far. The pump is pretty awful, but it works. I added some extra D-rings with some vinyl cement.

It's well worth the price, especially if you're unsure if you will like paddle boarding.

Never paddle boarded before, but thought I'd give this a shot - thanks! I used the American Express deal to get an extra 10% off (apparently taken before promo discount), total was $72.46 for the Light Blue Tiki.

I use a Ryobi double pump. The high volume to get it full then the tire to finish it off. You just have to buy the lil adaptors

I've got one of these! Pretty solid for beginners and cheap at that. Just don't buy their life vest cause it's single use (at least mine was).

is there a brand/model of electric SUP pump people like? I see on Amazon the prices range quite a bit on the pump
I've seen the hand pumps that come with these are better than many electric ones. Electric ones are good for the initial fill but the last bit to max, these that come with it are better.
