Why do all Hall effect keyboards tend to not have a numpad these days? I use my numpad for work but want Hall effect for gaming.

FPS gamers need the extra mouse space and hall effect mostly benefits fps players.

I'd maybe just get a standalone numpad on the side that you can bring in or put away when switching between productivity and gaming?

That makes sense. I was thinking later about it and the mousepad area was what I thought of too. Thanks for the feedback!

With my skill, I'll need much more than that! Good idea though I've never thought about splitting them up.

Just chiming in: this has been my experience too.
I went TKL at home 2 years ago and don't miss it.... but at work, I need a num pad.
LIke the other dude said, you can probably get away with a separate BT num pad when you need it & keep it tucked away when you don't.
Alternatively, there are keyboards with num pads on the left but that's a bridge too far for me 😅
