This is why people need gamepass. Imagine the over hyped wastes of time you might be tricked into buying because of reviews. See Mixtape and Celeste.

Since it is pretty short but densely packed with wtf moments and amazingly paced, play through in one sitting on a rainy Saturday.

I don't really remember any wtf moments. Honestly felt it was kinda subpar. I didn't like the atmosphere and the visuals, but otherwise just felt like a walking simulator they tried to pass off as a horror game

Mixtape is hot trash but Still Wakes the Deep was pretty dang good. A must play if you're a fan of Lovecraft or Cthulhu

Really good game short but to the point felt like a movie that plays intensely silent Hill mixed with 80s industrial atmosphere. Its definitely worth the money and Don't go off reviews try it for yourself I watched theradbrads playthrough before pulling the trigger on it.

Indie gala has this for $5.24 (7 hours left, they are an official key seller - not grey market)

Good but a lot of backtracking. As far as I remember some of the backtracking is new environments but felt like I wasn't doing anything

Playing this now and genuinely enjoying it. The detail on the rig is exquisite, and it feels like an artistic time capsule. The auto-saves are frequent and make it easy to play in short bursts.
