I've made many a brisket and racks of ribs with these pellets. Best value option out there IMO.

These are far from best value. Especially since they also add oil to their pellets.

Never used this brand, see it at Costco all the time, but I prefer the Costco brand which is half the price and love it

You're right it's not half price but it's also not only a "$5 difference". You're also getting 7 pounds more for $4 more. Comes out to KS - $0.53 per pound vs. Traeger $0.75 per pound (on sale).

Normally Traeger is $0.81 per pound so it's pretty close to half price (~65% of normal price).

You need to go by the in-warehouse price, not the inflated online price. KS is $13/40 lbs, so it's actually 33 cents/lb. The Traeger is $17/33 lbs on sale, so it's 52 cents/lb. Also fun fact, KS pellets is the PitBoss competition blend. $2 cheaper than getting from Walmart.

Kirkland signature pellets are 12.99 for 40 pounds. Definitely smoked a little too much
