Pick this up, It's Ubisoft published, but support the developers Evil Empire who also developed such gems as Dead Cells, Castlevania Belmonts Curse and Brotato. Very similar gameplay to Dead Cells and Castlevania Belmonts Curse, if you enjoyed those. Cool art style and keeping the POP IP alive.

Looks fun, has good reviews, and the last Prince of Persia (The Last Crown) was excellent. But it's $30 not $35 on Nintendo's store, so only $5 off instead of $10? Is the physical version $5 more?

I haven't been able to enjoy Belmont's Curse because it hasn't been released yet.

I got extremely sick while playing Prince of Persia Sands of Time when that came out ages ago. Wasn't the game's fault. Total coincidence. To this day I can't even look at a Prince of Persia game because of the association in my head with that sickness.

I was gonna pull the trigger, only to find out that the Switch 2 version is a Game Key Card. lame. Switch 1 version seems to be a playable cartridge.

Which still gives you the option of reselling later on.

Yup, true.. that is until they decide to shut down the servers. Not saying it will happen any time soon, but down the line they may.

Then you wouldn't get needed updates. The servers for the WiiU and 3DS still exist. I understand your point but it's pretty moot right now.

That's pretty cheap, even for Nintendo standards. The game is only a few GBs.

They shouldn't have chosen a storage format they weren't willing to support correctly.

I care. The Switch 2 version would have been a no-brainer except it's a stupid game key card. The Switch 1 version is the same price, too.

I read a review (https://3rd-strike.com/the-rogue-...-2-review/ ) that said the Switch 1 version has "both versions" but I have not been able to confirm that, and have seen literally the opposite elsewhere.

That's like me, but with the horrible NES Jaws game.

I believe you get both version if you purchase the Switch 1 version digitally. Doesn't apply to physical cartridge.
