Never owned any tools. It's this a good deal? Or should I wait for a better deal?

Descent as a starter pack and for a part-time weekend warrior that has some work around the home to accomplish.
Don't think that one battery will last all day among all the tools though.
And it's start to be a hassle of you have to use more than 3 tools for a project. you have to keep swapping the battery between tools.
ultimately you will need more batteries for any major or long project.

Do they sell a similar brushless bundle? If so, what's a good price for that?

I own many cordless power tools, including this set, Ridgid, Milwaukee, and Black & Decker.

This set is great for just about everything. The impact driver only has one setting (aside from being able to manually control the speed with much you press the trigger) and the circular saw is a bit on the small side (can't quite cut through a 4x4 even if you rotate it) but it gets just about everything done and for the price it is great.

One of the very nice things that I've enjoyed about Ryobi is the vast lineup of tools that they have, and often on sale. They've got something for just about every job and given the price point of their tools, it's usually not much of a consideration. I've also appreciated some of their non-power tool items that work with this battery such as the various lights and their power washer.

If you are doing weekend warrior stuff, this is a great set. If you are embarking on a bigger project like building a fence or doing more renovations, I would still highly recommend Ryobi but consider a slightly better set that has a better impact driver and a 7 1/4" circular saw.

In hindsight, I would have considered forgoing Ridgid and going with Ryobi for the majority of my cordless power tools, but also having a 12v drill and impact driver like my Milwaukee M12 because that is fantastic for most jobs.

Is this a decent tool set? Is 18V Ryobi good? I see many different voltages from different manufacturers... does it mean anything?

The tools are fine, good kit if you're on a budget. If I were to start over, I'd probably go with Dewalt for the Flexvolt battery system though that would be hundreds more for a similar assortment.

I think this is an excellent deal to get started.I still have my Ryobi drill & impact from my first house 14 years ago. They still work great.Admitting, I use a different drill / impact combo now because I build a bunch of stuff. But they were my primary for 10 years before I got a brushless line, with more power, as technology advanced. It's great having a second drill / impact (for me now) when you're working with multiple bits.If I'm hogging through a beam, I'm going to use the nicer drill with a 5+ amp battery.

You might be better off getting battery + brushless tool(s) in smaller bundles. That way, you get better tools and you can accumulate a few extra batteries in the process. If you're just planning on very light work, this is a good set for the price.
