Note, this is the AC motor vs DC motor. I prefer the more efficient and quiet DC motor.

I prefer to have a ceiling fan that has a bulb socket. If the LED ever goes out on this so, too, goes the fan.

I much prefer these old simple AC induction motor fans over the newer DC motor fans - I can easily "modernize" them with a fan smart switch (set fan speed to max, light ON, remove both pull chains, then set up with Alexa). This option isn't available on any DC motor fans at the time of writing. Good price for a simple room fan.

i literally spent double the deals on found on here to get a fan with bulb sockets, integrated is kinda insane.
i also put a TPlink smart wall switch, so i control it with my voice, the fan also.

Is this one soldered? Normally they fit with a 3 or 4 pin connector, and you can just buy them (the replacement LED strips) on amazon.

$45 fan, $25 light. Would be interesting to see a long term study on costs. I have Hunter ceiling fans that are over 20 years old
