This all brushless DeWalt 20V Max six tool combo kit is viewed as a strong starter set for weekend DIY work, with quality tools, solid power, and batteries that hold a good charge. The 7 1 4 inch saw is a welcome upgrade over the smaller 6 1 2 inch saw found in many sets, and the price lands in a range that fits a good per tool benchmark. The main drawback is the included DCD799 drill, which is less preferred than the DCD800 or DCD801 style options. The TOUGH10 code also does not work on this deal, so the appeal is mostly in the bundle itself.
Common Questions (5)
Yes. The kit is all brushless, which is a major reason it is considered a strong value for a 6-tool combo.
No. The included drill is the DCD799, and the hammer-drill versions are the DCD805 and DCD806; the DCD800 and DCD801 are not hammer drills.
No. The TOUGH10 promo code does not work on this deal, although the kit is still described as a great price without it.
Yes. It is described as a good starter kit for a weekend warrior or DIY homeowner, with a useful mix of tools that can cover handyman work for years.
Yes. The kit includes a 7¼-inch saw, which is preferred here over the 6½-inch saw commonly seen in other sets.
