This all brushless DeWalt 20V Max six tool combo kit is viewed as a strong starter set for weekend DIY work, with quality tools, solid power, and batteries that hold a good charge. The 7 1 4 inch saw is a welcome upgrade over the smaller 6 1 2 inch saw found in many sets, and the price lands in a range that fits a good per tool benchmark. The main drawback is the included DCD799 drill, which is less preferred than the DCD800 or DCD801 style options. The TOUGH10 code also does not work on this deal, so the appeal is mostly in the bundle itself.
The kit includes all-brushless DeWalt tools that can help avoid low-value add-ons.
The combo kit can work well as a weekend DIY starter when building a DeWalt 20V platform.
The included 7-1/4 inch saw is preferred over the more common 6-1/2 inch saw size.
The drill and impact driver platform can deliver strong power with batteries that hold a good charge.
The advertised coupon code does not work for this deal, which can reduce the expected savings.
The drill model included, DCD799, is less desirable than hammer-drill options like DCD800 or DCD801.
The kit may not be ideal if you already own the 20V drill and impact driver.
The hammer-drill equivalents are DCD805 and DCD806, so buyers wanting hammer drilling should verify model numbers.
