The listed dimensions on produce page are actually internal measurements not external. Check review photos for actual external size. The 20 and 28 are too big for most airlines.

Samsonite likes to make 23.75 carry on, which doesn't meet the requirement of any airlines AFAIK.
This is one of those carry on, and I don't know why they keep doing this.

Here are the dimensions: DIMENSIONS: Carry-on 20.3 x 8 x 14.5 and 8.6 lbs, MEDIUM CHECKED 25 x 9.3 x 17.5 and 9.9 lbs, CHECKED LARGE 29 x 10.5 x 20 and 11.5 lbsFor most major airlines, the standard carry-on bag size limit is 22" x 14" x 9" (56 x 36 x 23 cm). These dimensions must include all wheels and handles.

Samsonite does this all the time. I've been looking for a softshell carry on for 5 years from samsonite. Ones that fits airline requirements either doesn't exist or will never go on sale.
These bags are heavy. I've been fascinated with lightweight luggage. Look at IT luggage brand. Large checked bag, some of them are only 6-7lbs vs this samsonite which is 11.5lbs. across multiple bags it adds up fast.

I have these bags, they are not light but also not as heavy as it is listed here:
The tags have a different weight and I measured them :
Large: 10.88lb Medium: 9.28lb CO: 7.64lb
Airlines flying within the US tend to not care what size your bag is as long as it's not overweight.
They will care about carry on size, and now more when they squeeze every single person for every penny they can. Not so much for checked in, as long as it's not huge.
