Did they fix this disc or does it still freeze around minute 50 something?

There are people who loves and hates alike? Say it ain't so! I personally enjoyed the movie. I am actually rewatching it now on Netflix. Not sure i'd want to own it though.

I'm a pretensious movie snob, and for the life of me I've NEVER understood the hype around this movie. You can guess the plot twist almost instantly and that dance scene is the most embarrassing thing I've ever seen.
What you said doesn't sound as cool as you think. The movie is supposed to be eerie and awkward. It's tech bros making AI waifus, I would be disappointed to see them be remotely suave or cool.

Also, since you don't understand why people enjoy it, it makes sense that you also didn't understand why this cliche idea being played out in film would be something to watch. Most media is a copy and paste of human nature and cause and effect. Not everything needs to be a novel new fresh idea. I enjoyed this movie for seeing the the process and the movies interpretation of this concept.

I wasn't trying to be cool at all, I can get why people liked this movie but the intense hype it got was a mystery to me. As I expressed. You've seen this type of movie a million times, and it's been done a million times better.
Heck, even the movie AI Rising (which features a non-actress) was done so much better and was actually eerie and awkward. And had no dance number.

This is such a great movie! I've watching it several times, and pick up something new each time I watch that I did not catch in an earlier viewing.

I have a feeling that's a player issue from changing layers. You got another player to test? PS5?

No, the twist is Nathan was right. Was in original script, more obvious now.
