This is by far the cheapest I've seen a Vitamix blender. Is this ever this low? I'm kicking myself because I paid $250 on FB marketplace for a 10 year old 5200.... But, I have heard the newer blenders are not as powerful and more cheaply made. But...a 5 year warranty is higher than they normally give on reconditioned blenders. If I didn't buy mine a couple of months ago, then I'd be all over this. This is the highest rated on Consumer Reports.

I'm not seeing the 750 when I click on the link in the op nor the link in the comments. Am I missing something?

You are wrong. Woot had refurbished for less than $200 a couple of weeks ago.

Woah. That's an awful price for the 5200.

For people on the fence - just get it if you want to buy a singular blender for the rest of your life. It's pricier than the standard options, but it's built like a tank and blend things SMOOOOOOOOTH. It lives up to the hype, I use it to make various batters for waffles, cakes, breads; smoothies, shakes, and etc.

I got a Refurbished Vitamix Explorian (similar specs, less modes) in 2019 for $149 and it's been the best blender I've ever purchased. It's gone to hell and back having dealt with my stupidity - such as trying to blend whole blocks of cheese, DRY while trying to make a Pão de Queijo batter. That was completely beyond what any blender should be expected to do and it let off the magic electrical smoke as it proved too much - but rose back from the dead after letting it rest for 2 hours and still works perfectly years later.

It's one of those rare, buy it once for life products that are unfortunately becoming rarer and rarer to come by.

I don't know if they make them like they used to, but I bought my Vitamix 21 years ago, and it has blended everything I've thrown at it. I've made nut butter, thousands of smoothies, thousands of mixed drinks. I've also owned a "ninja" cause the now ex-wife thought it would be "better"... it most definitely was not. The vitimix I have blends everything super smooth. No chucks left... perfect every time.

Again, I'm not sure if they still make them like mine, but mine seems to be made of solid steel and gumption. In this economy, it may be the only thing my kinds inherit that they might want.
