KEF LSX II LT is a compact active bookshelf speaker set that stands out for clear, detailed sound and a strong nearfield soundstage, especially on a desk or in a small room. The app adds useful tuning, including treble, crossover, desk or wall settings, and subwoofer integration, and the price at $399.97 is a sharp drop from prior Costco pricing. It works best with a subwoofer for fuller bass and is not built for large spaces. Setup can be finicky for TV, Bluetooth, Apple TV, or audio lag, so it suits focused listening more than plug and play simplicity.

  • The KEF LSX II LT can deliver strong clarity, soundstage, and detail for near-field desktop listening.

  • The KEF Connect app can enable desk or wall tuning and crossover adjustments beyond 80 Hz.

  • The Uni-Q driver design can create a time-aligned single point source soundstage up close.

  • A KEF KC62 sub can integrate seamlessly through the KEF Connect app for fuller sound.

  • The speakers can require app tweaking and may sound best when paired with a sub set around 70-80 Hz.

  • Bluetooth connectivity can be difficult to set up and may not stay connected for some TV room setups.

  • Audio lag and connectivity issues can occur over wireless and USB-C connections.

  • Ground-loop noise can happen, and switching outlets or using an extension may be required to resolve it.

Has anyone actually bought a pair at $399? Can you post receipt? Would hate to drive all the way down to the store that has them only to pay the $499

You can check the pricing for a specific warehouse in the Costco app > warehouse tab > search warehouse inventory

I bought another set for work office. Actually, bought two, then returned my prior online order with one of the sets before going home.
Originally bought at $599, returned then returned/rebought at $499, now instead have two sets at $399 each.

Oh really? I also have the kanto Tuk but I don't use it near, more like a living room speakers. Thanks for sharing, I've been wondering how this KEF sound in comparison with the tuk.
Yeah, found the kantu tuk very barebone compare to the KEF. This are all powered speakers but kef takes it to another level with the app and customization. While the tuk has a dsp and when you connect a sub, it high pass the speaket to 80hz and sub 80hz. Thats about it. While the remote you control the trebble and bass (which the bass also makes the sub blower since it also sending the signal to the bass entire frequency).
The kef give you the option to adjust if you are running them in a desk or wall. The distances, which high pass and low pass you want and not limited to 80hz. Bass gain so you dont have to run Y cable to the sub when there not enought power and making the sub sound tiny. When do you want the speakers to go on standbye, if you want the lights on or always off in speaker. When turn on, which input you want it to be and alot more. Kantu tuk sounds great but not $899 great with the lack of feature. At that point i would just get a small wiiamp and passive speakers.

Just got these shipped for 500 online price. Possible to price match even though this is in store pricing? Edit: Costco policy says NO.

Paired a Wiim Ultra with my Kali LP6- love the sound but getting terrible headaches even after EQing and adding a ground loop eliminator. If someone could help me out, gonna test these if I still get headaches.

Has anyone ever compared these to Vanatoo T0s? Wonder if it's worth switching.

I thought I was balling with my Edifier speakers for 200 dollars. It looks like we have a bunch of audiophiles here.

Great deal--picked one up today. What's a good sub for these speakers? Trying not to over pay, but options I was seeing were >$300. The Edifier T5s Powered Active Subwoofer doesn't seem good enough. Maybe a good unit to buy used? TIA!

Connect the speaker to a different outlet. Even if u have to run an extention. See if that works. It worked for me on my yu6. But this kef handle groundloop like a champ. Even when i now have it connect to the same power source

Thanks. Will try that, I hope it works. Love the bass on my LP6. I hope going from 6.5 woofer to 4.5 won't be too bad for my living room setup!

Haha, these replaced those edifiers on my work desk. Mainly because the size worked better (I can lay these down) and because I wanted to have the same set up at work and in home office.
