If you use a cat litter scoop, or other perforated scoop, you can leave all the dust behind. Don't put the dust in your smoker, because if it gets damp, it can clog the auger; causing you to take the whole mech apart.

How does this compare to the Treguir pellets?

These have clogged my smoker at least once if not twice. (2nd time I did have some moisture) They are not cut very good, I have had pellets 2'' to 2.5'' long and it messes with my auger. That said, at this price... Haha.

I have used they for years and they are the only pellets I buy. Bonus is my Lowe's had Meat Church seasoning for 30% off of 2 or more.

Not sure what the complaints are all about, yes if you leave these out and they get soaked they will clog anything you put them in. I have used this brand for like 5 years now without any issues, except for when I let them get wet which is on me. Great amount of smoke and flavor and at this price its a ridiculously good deal.

These are my standard go to pellet and I haven't had any issues. Like someone else said, any pellet can take on moisture and cause problems.

I would have still bought more from TS.

They never go bad. My neighbor gave me a bunch of Trager pellets that were 20+ years old. Burned just fine.

The Trager pellets use oils to flavor the pellets (I'm not joking, Google it). These are natural wood.

While the volume and price were good on those TS pellets but the flavor was zero and the ash was a lot in my experience. I switched to the Bear Mountain 2/$19.99 at TS and the difference in flavor was night and day.

I've been using Pit Boss Competition Blend for a year now, zero issues with my Traeger. I do sift my pellets with a colander but these typically have low dust as it is. I got 2 40lb bags, 2 rubs, and delivery for free Smilie

That was for Tractor Supply's brand not Pit Boss.

Grabbed 2 bags, should be set for most of the year along with what I currently have. $26 after taxes for 80lbs, not bad! Walmart sells the same bag for $15. I've used this kind for many hours, no issues. Thanks!
