We bought two during the GMA deal in March 2026 for about the same price and use both every night. Our electric bill went up about $100 in April and $150 in May. The only real change has been adding the BedJet.
We're currently testing with energy-monitoring smart plugs to confirm, but even if it is the BedJet, the comfort is absolutely worth it.
I did a quick test this morning before work and saw 0.041 kWh over 5 minutes. Using that as a rough baseline, that works out to about:
- ~3.9 kWh for 8 hours
- ~4.9 kWh for 10 hours (per unit)
- Roughly 122–153 kWh for the month (May) per unit
My all-in electric rate is $0.11759/kWh, so that comes out to:- About $14–$18 per month per unit
- Or roughly $28–$36/month for both
That said, my wife also uses Turbo Heat and regular Heat sometimes, and I don't have numbers for that yet, so real usage is probably higher.At this point, it seems like the BedJets are definitely adding to the bill, but probably not the full $100–$150 increase on their own. It's likely a mix of that plus other stuff (AC, seasonal changes, etc.).
Still gathering data and will do a full overnight test next.
I asked because I was curious what other people's real-world experience has been with energy usage on these.

Also my wife is a old lady in a younger women's body. She will sometime go lay in at like 6 pm and have it on from there until the next morning at 6 am. So my run time are all over the place. That's why I am starting testing. I plan to move around the house checking everything, because will the Bedjet is contributing to the increase, I don't believe it's the only thing. Plan to test test test and get me a baseline.

BedJet 3 has a max in heat mode of 1,100W, with a 10 minute boost to 1,500W.
Assuming you're sleeping 8 hours, with it running at max, you're using between 8.8kWh and 12kWh a night. multiply by you're electricity price... mine was 0.25$/kWh last month, so between 2.20$/night and 3$/night, and per a 30 day month 66$ to 90$.
But remember, that's on max heat for 8 hours (which you can't even do at the 1,500W since it's 10 minute limitation)... and even my wife doesn't do that, it's on max for maybe <2 hours, then drops to medium, so it's far less.
cooling is negligible, at 9-40W... not even worth doing the math on, that's just another fan running
especially at stupid NYS current prices
