Excluding the reviews from people who don't know how to care for cast iron (rusting), these do not seem to be super well made. There are more than expected number of reviews with broken off handles, and in those reviews you can see these pans are thinner than you'd want. Just invest the money (which is not much) in a lodge pan/set.
These are really small pans. The 6" isn't going to make much more than a fried egg or two, and probably won't fit a grilled cheese without cutting off the corners. 8 is a nice size for a personal pizza, single grilled cheese, or a shepherds pie for two (one if he's a teenager). 10" is small-skillet - two chicken breasts or a single butterflied; maybe a single real steak or two fillets.
