UPDATE:
I'm 5'6 and the distance between the two foot rests make this a little harder on my knees than I thought. The most I've gone is 20 minutes and the awkward feeling actually works my core more because it doesn't feel comfortable yet. I'll give it a few months but I can say it is a sturdy build. I'm 170lbs right now and it feels fine.
I actually really love the portable elliptical machines but each ones I've purchased from Amazon I've worn out in under 2 years. I get the "standing" ones but truthfully, I think they're all really built for sitting. One of the foot pedals just breaks off due to the wear and tear mid-use.

Got this today and used it for ~30 minutes in 5-8 minute increments in front of my standing desk while I worked. I'm a big guy trying to lose around 80lbs currently (already lost ~100lbs since early 2024). This definitely kicks my a**, I was a sweaty mess after half an hour, but I like it a lot. Hopefully it holds up quality wise. Between this, biking, walking and my rowing machine, I have a pretty good variety of stuff to get my workout on these days.

7% 1-star ratings is not very good. However, the price point is worth the gamble. I'm a septagenerian and in that aging zone where loss-of-balance raises its ugly head. So, this device is probably higher on my priority list than the average customer.

Note: I noticed on several videos of the product that the Merach Rocking Stepper appears to come in at least two variations, one with a slightly smaller blue triangular block and one with a slightly larger blue triangular block.

Since the blocks appear to be attached via two screws, I plan on removing the blocks entirely to allow for greater range of motion. Other competing products (from different manufacturers) have no triangular blocks, so I don't believe that their absence will cause any significant safety problems. However, I will need to be careful about damaging the floor or carpet under the edges that are no longer protected by the plastic pieces.

FR5UPI6X still seems to work. If you're using the Amazon app you might be missing the step of tapping on the arrow that appears in the promo code box to apply the code (before tapping the Continue button).

Exactly what I'm interested in seeing. Especially for someone tall (6 foot +)

I have a regular stepper (Sunny). Is it worth getting this one?

it's not really a stepper, it's like a balance board, I don't think it's conducive to active work, maybe if you are on the phone and off camera.

You could have at your standing desk but not under it. It would need to be in the same spot where a chair might sit.
