My son and I built him a new PC this last fall and this was the card I found. Got it for $599. It has performed flawlessly over the last 7 months.

He games with it but primarily for his architecture classes. Rhino, AutoCAD, Revit, plus a variety of 3d renderers.

He graduated May 9th! Woot!

You sure it was the ti version? 599 for the ti sounds completely unheard of

The PNY RTX 5070 Ti is a strong 4K and high refresh rate gaming card that also handles demanding work like Rhino, AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D rendering well. Performance is repeatedly described as close to an RTX 4080, with solid benchmark results and smooth long term use. The main catch is pricing and stock, since the $699 clearance has been highly store specific and often requires in store lookup, ordering, or a price adjustment. Some locations rang up $799, $899, or even $999, so the deal depends heavily on the store.

Common Questions (5)

  • Often yes, if a store can see the clearance price in its system. A common workaround is to have an associate look up the SKU in-store and place the order for pickup or shipping at the marked price, even when the card is not on the shelf.

  • Yes. Reported prices include $699, $599.99, $598.99, and even $500.99 after later markdowns or price adjustments, depending on store and timing.

    Shock96LavenderSummer9182Shock96Baro

  • No. Some stores ring it up at $699, but many locations show $799, $899, or $999.99 instead, so the deal is highly store-dependent and can change by location or day.

  • The code is sent by Best Buy email with redemption instructions through the Nvidia app, and for some in-store pickup orders it is printed at the bottom of the receipt instead. If it is missing at pickup, customer service may still confirm eligibility and send the code after delivery.

    mech5700SkillfulCabbage3353jqlnolaAeonic

  • It is strong for demanding 4K or high-refresh gaming and has been used successfully for Rhino, AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D rendering. It may be overkill for light 1080p esports use, but it can be a solid fit if you need the extra GPU headroom.

Discrepancies like this have been so confusing, people say it's not $699 at their store, but I can never tell if they just walked by a shelf and saw a tag that said $900-1,000 (or checked the wrong model) and moved on or if they went to the register and saw with their own eyes on the screen that the deal wasn't valid for them. Maybe a lot of people are reserving online and it will be full price for them and rejected, but it's completely sold out for Texas and California, so it would seem it was valid at all stores.
In KY and they showed me this specific model on the screen in their system for $900, nothing cheaper. This store doesn't keep any on shelves on the floor either so idk

I tried the buy it at the store and cancel it when I arrive strategy. I didn't work because the item become briefly available and then unavailable within a couple of minutes.
Still walked in, asked any store associate for assistance, I showed them the website of the item, she used her phone to look up the sku and confirmed the pricing at $699 and said that they didn't have it in stock BUT they can order it for me to have it shipped.
Went to their small checkout to complete tue purchase as if I were buying it in-store. I looked at their phone to verify it was the correct item with correct specs and she told me that the sku numbers were the same on my phone and on hers. Paid and got a printed receipt. Free shipping. Arriving on the 28th.
So, basically this is a workaround to order it online but at the in-store price

You're not ignoring the use of a $100 gift card or something, are you? You'd have gotten it well below MSRP (and even at the $749 MSRP was a rare deal for most of the life of this product) if it was $599 and this exact model.

I was able to get this deal. I bought online and saw the shelf said $699 and asked to get it at that price. They initially tried to price match it so I would get refunded the difference but the price match option wasnt available. Oddly after a few minutes it eventually became available on the screen for her to price match down so I received the refund difference. She said if the price matching option wasnt available that she would cancel the order and let me just rebuy it, however I would have to paid twice and wait for the refund expected from the online purchase.

Agree with Schock96, the PNY GeForce RTX 5070 Ti was $699 during Black Friday 2025. It was sold by Walmart on November 19, 2025. I also bought one, given how things are, I will go to $599 on Black Friday if not LOWER. Be patient friends.

This is a really good card. I'm hitting 7200 with mild overclocking and undervolting on 3dmark in nomad.
