My son and I built him a new PC this last fall and this was the card I found. Got it for $599. It has performed flawlessly over the last 7 months.

He games with it but primarily for his architecture classes. Rhino, AutoCAD, Revit, plus a variety of 3d renderers.

He graduated May 9th! Woot!

When i checked earlier it said unavailable in-store for 250 miles (Columbus, ohio).
Now it just says "Unavailable". Not available for shipping now either.

I'm in Georgia. I went to 2 stores. First one didn't have stock (but they don't store GPUs in a case so couldn't check tag). Second one had the price tag on the shelf saying $699 but not stocked. The associate said they had 2 in the back but then came back and said they were out.
Tried to buy it online to ship at the register and actually got it on the checkout at $699, but then last moment told me that it was unavailable online, BOSS, and all nearby stores. Another associate said there was some guy that came in at store opening and bought 5....

There was one available at a store about 80 miles away from me, I had a friend go there yesterday to pick it up and they said they couldn't find it. The digital price tag showed $699 and he sent me a picture of it. I went to the local Best buy and actually talked to one of the managers and he could not match the price but I explained the situation and he was willing to do it for $799 and order it. I passed on it cuz I was coming down to th area today that had the one in stock yesterday, I spoke to somebody who actually had half of a brain and he looked it up and said it sold about an hour before my buddy got there yesterday, but he had no problem ordering one for me at the sale price from the DC which showed there was 158 of them and he gave me free expedited shipping. This was about 6 hours ago, have not gotten a cancellation email yet but we will see.

I purchased one at the retail price of 999 this morning an hour and a half before Best Buy opened and then I drove up to Best Buy that was closest to me even though I ordered it at the next city over and it was ringing up 899 so I just decided to go ahead and drive to the next city where I ordered it and surprisingly it was marked down after I picked it up. They credited my card back $300 so I got it for 699.
