Dawn Platinum Plus Lemon Scent Dish Spray is a strong grease cleaner that also works well on classroom desks and has been called the best dish detergent for individual dishes. The deal price is attractive, though the final cost has landed around $3 after Subscribe and Save for some orders. The main drawback is the lemon scent, which comes across as very strong and even off to some noses. A dependable cleaner if the fragrance is not a dealbreaker.

Other dawn products are all missing the most important solvent thst makes powerwash work so well (Dipropylene Glycol Butyl Ether). The home recipe may work okay for many but it will not perform as well as the original when it comes to grease fighting capability. Personally I make s bottle of home made for general use then save the real stuff for the hella greasy and dirty stuff.
If you are dedicated you can buy the solvents missing form regular dawn and add them to your home made recipe and it will be much cheaper still if you are willing to go that extra mile.

The original dawn powerwash formula has rubbing alcohol in it.
3oz dawn dish soap
2oz rubbing alcohol
fill the rest up with water, 11oz.
