I have a bunch of these. The circular saw is underpowered, and the light is useless, but the drills, drivers, Sanders and sawsalls are nice.. I have build decks, garages, shelves, tables, and more with mine over the past 8 years. And I didn't waste money on more expensive sets that are still each made in Asia... Guess your kid's toys are nifty after all.

Good comment. It's okay if you can use the tools for a few projects but if you want to invest in a starting tool set to expand in the future B&D is not that set. Homeowner I would recommend Ryobi all the way. I also like the Skil cordless but they seem to be wandering around looking for vendors since Lowe's Dropped them. Too bad as I love my Skil 20v and 12v tools!
