I've been using a "Durabuilt" Target branded version for years 15, it works, but has always been a little janky. A legit Dremel should be a decent upgrade.
FYI, military discount isn't taking off here but with a lot of branded major sale items at HD (Dremel, Ryboi, etc) it tends not to.
Edit: per a 2020 customer question / answer someone asked if the flex shaft was included, another customer replied "No it did not." (past tense) If I don't get the flex shaft I'll probably complain to HD to see if they throw me a gift card....especially if their product page has been wrong for 6 freaking years

Edit: Signed up for an account, super painless and didn't even have to verify. I can only assume they cross ref'd my email and last 4 of my SS#. I also love the fact it appears you can buy darn near anything via HD by this method tax free and with a discount. That's about to be my new hobby
