To clarify, this works for Verizon FIOS (home Internet), even if your mobile plan is a different company. Perhaps folks here can confirm if it also works for Verizon 5G Home Internet and Verizon wireless customers.

When I tried to do this a few months ago it was only for one user not a family plan. Did that change?

I just signed up and the yt lite is only for the main family account. It doesnt work with other family members currently.
everything else seems to be shared.
also lite still gives ads for music, which defeats the point of paying for lite to me. But we need the 5tb storage, we were paying $10/mo for 100gb before this, so thanks

The transition from an existing annual 2TB Google One plan that renews in December seems difficult. It appears that you would have to cancel the Google One plan and forfeit the remaining term. Though Verizon's Google portal for $120/year for 5TB plus AI is compelling.
