I know these are the OG, but after mine fell apart after several years of frequent use, I switched to the Aiper Scuba robot cleaner and it has exceeded expectations. No more hoses to wrestle with and loss of suction on the skimmer when in use. Just throw the robot in and let it do its thing for a few hours including cleaning above the rim line.

I bought the top of the line Aiper and it's a huge disappointment. It moves like molasses and the suction is no comparison to the previous cable-powered vacuum we had for over 10 years that can run 24/7. Everyday we had to re-charge the Aiper multiple times if you want a clean pool. It's a chore in itself. Battery-powered is a wasted of money. Once the battery loses its charge, you're stuck with an expensive paperweight.
