If you're gonna keep parroting an empty response, go ahead and lay out some facts. If your ISP provides a free modem that is simply a modem, or an all in one that supports bridge mode, then they can always confirm connectivity to the modem. That saves a huge headache when something is wrong on the signal level, or even a local node. You then provide your own router - switch - APs. I work in networking every day 'bro.' There's no way I would rely on a cheap consumer modem/router combo like this to be able to handle or even have the capability to handle vlans, vpn, ddns, local dns (pihole/adguard). Not even considering my work IT site, I personally have a pretty robust home network. ISP provided (free) modem, ubiquiti gear controller / switches / APs, all that handle multiple vpns, dns, ddns, vlans for IoT, cameras, etc, as well as linux servers for a myriad of docker containers ranging from my whole home automation with home assistant to Plex. So let me know what you find out from a 'tech community commenter' when you're able. Unless you're misunderstanding all of this and don't realize the difference between a modem and router.
