This MacBook Air deal stands out as a strong value for the 13.6 inch M5 model with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD, especially versus the 256GB version at the same price. The larger storage is paired with the M5 chip, and the upgrade path is described as giving the same 10 core CPU and GPU setup. Costco also adds a 90 day return window and a free second year warranty, with price adjustment support and some card or membership rewards available. The main drawback is that the base warranty is shorter than AppleCare, and higher storage or memory configurations climb quickly in price.

Common Questions (5)

  • Yes. Costco includes a 90-day return policy and a free second year of warranty coverage, making it more attractive than a standard retail purchase.

    Zelotodraindibbumshryusha

  • Yes. Costco's online price adjustment form can refund the difference, and buyers who paid $949.99 reported getting $50 back per unit without needing to rebuy and return it.

    bettyboopsfjoesixpack

  • Yes, the 24GB/1TB configuration is listed at $1299. It is a higher-priced step-up from the $899.99 16GB/512GB model.

    todrainLostwarriorram

  • Yes. Upgrading the base model's RAM or storage still keeps the M5 10-core CPU/GPU chip, and the base 13-inch model starts with a 10/8 CPU/GPU split.

    tanginatortanginator

  • Yes. The 16GB/512GB configuration is the better buy at the same price because it adds more storage, should hold value better, and still gets the M5 performance gains.

Bought this a couple of weeks ago and just submitted price adjustment request to get the $50 back. Glad Costco does this all online so I don't need to rebuy and return the one I bought
Same here!

is this worth it to upgrade from the base model MBA M4?
probably not for most people unless they benefit from the PCIe 4.0 ssd in the m5 which is a significant improvement

Workaround, take screenshot, copy text, discard screenshot. Pretty quick on iPhone or Mac. I agree it should work in the app, but this is my go to workaround.

The MBA should last most people 5-6 years. Consider upgrading when the M10 comes out.

Good deal. I bought two of them early May for $949.99 and thanks to you I just saved $100 ($50 on each unit) with the Costco price adjustment form... https://customerservice.costco.co...com-orders
do you know if a price adjustment can be done online if I bought it at warehouse in-person? That location is over an hour away from and I don't want to go. If anyone knows, please let me know. Thanks

I want to buy this with the AppleCare put. My Costco membership is expired I have the Apple caring card at checkout. Will it still work?

It says you need a Costco membership to purchase applecare but again my membership is expired.
