Got one for the mowers. Quick google search suggest small engines may benefit from a syn blend more so than full syn.

Either way, it's going in the mower, which likely doesn't care much what oil you put in it.

Looks like a pretty good deal, I haven't seen too many blends on sale. I have an older truck with a few leaks and this is what I use, I don't know why when I use full synthetic it leaks much worse.

no matter what, it is most important that you actually change your oil. The type is the least important

I still change it at 3,000 even though it's blend, it's really hard to find a conventional 10W30 5qt jug at this price

Exactly. I've almost never cared what oil I use so long as I change it regularly. All my vehicles make it to 300,000 I get rid of them because I'm tired of looking at them or I get rear-ended.

Hardly matters what you put this in since it's happy it has an oil change.

Full synthetic is smaller on a molecular level. Just like you must have imagined since it does leak out faster. High mileage oils have additional additive in them that is supposed to help swell rubber seals. Not all gaskets just some of the rubber seals. This may possibly slow down your leak depending on how bad it is. Full synthetic which won't be high mileage, pretty much for this reason will dump right out of an older vehicle with leaky seals. I've almost always been happy with nonsynthetics and frequent oil changes. If I run a full synthetic I still change the oil early then others do at about 5000 miles and it hurts me every moment after 3000 to watch the gauge.
