This appears to be a rare Costco clearance on a 14 inch MacBook Pro in silver with a 512GB SSD, and the standout point is the unusually low $900 price. The deal is tied to a store specific .00 markdown, so the final price and remaining stock may only exist at a single location or on the last few units. The configuration is also called out as 512GB, not 1TB, with 16GB memory implied, which may feel tight for heavier creative or AI workloads. A few comments also question whether the listing is actually an Air rather than a Pro, so the exact model should be verified before heading out.
Costco members hunting a rare local markdown, because .00 pricing can be store-specific clearance and this price sits far below other warehouse listings.
MacBook buyers who want a compact pro laptop for everyday work, because the 512GB/16GB configuration can handle a 24/7 server setup with Docker, Plex, and primary-computer use.
Photo editors and offline LLM users who keep large project files locally, because 512GB storage can evaporate quickly and 16GB RAM may be insufficient.
Yes. The .00 price is described as store-specific clearance, often the last unit or a manager special, so it may be hard to find and unlikely to repeat at other warehouses. Checking the app can help, but calling the store is the best way to confirm remaining stock and the actual markdown.
It has a 512GB SSD, not 1TB. That capacity may be tight for heavier laptop use like Lightroom, Photoshop, or offline LLMs, but it can still be enough for lighter workloads and general use.
This deal is for the Silver SKU. The other SKU is Space Black, and the item numbers were identified as 1945135 for the lighter gray/silver model and 1945134 for the black one.
The listed configuration has 16GB RAM, which may be limiting for demanding workflows such as Lightroom, Photoshop, or offline LLMs. It can still handle lighter use and even server-style tasks, as shown by a 512GB/16GB Mac mini running multiple Docker containers, Plex, and torrenting.
There is a claim that Costco may have mislabeled it and that the same configuration appears as an Air listing. The thread also identifies it as a 14-inch MacBook Pro with a standard M5 chip, so the listing should be verified against the SKU before buying.
Thank you for sharing. I looked up the inventory at my local Costcos using the app and one of the stores had an M4 Macbook Pro. I went it and asked one of the employees if they could ask the manager for a discount. He was nice enough to do so and I walked out with a brand new M4 Macbook Pro for $1100 ($200 of the listed price for a 16GB/512GB). Not as good as the deal presented here, but I live in an area with a lot of tech jobs, so it is harder to find deals like this.
I'm going to show this price picture to a Costco manager and ask if he will match it. Won't hurt.
Anyone have an idea of when the electronics manager is usually in store?

This post should be taken down. This is not a YMMV deal. No store is going to replicate this price. For once whoever did this markdown broke the costco and apple agreement. Costco is not supposed to mark down apple items unless is a unit that was used as a display when Apple doesn't send demo units. Two, most managers when they do mark downs on display models they do anywhere from 10% to 30% so no store is going to match another. Please take this down because nobody is going to replicate this price. How do I know?. I ran a costco electronic department for years.
Found the last piece in my costco but was told that this store doesn't discount Apple products lol
They are right. I just wrote that. Costco and apple has an agreement and costco cannot mark down apple products unless it was a live unit that was used as a display whenever apple doesn't send a demo unit. This was not mark down by a warehouse manager or AGM.

I've seen Costco mark down new units it's clearing out. They marked the M1 Mac Studio way down.
