This appears to be a rare Costco clearance on a 14 inch MacBook Pro in silver with a 512GB SSD, and the standout point is the unusually low $900 price. The deal is tied to a store specific .00 markdown, so the final price and remaining stock may only exist at a single location or on the last few units. The configuration is also called out as 512GB, not 1TB, with 16GB memory implied, which may feel tight for heavier creative or AI workloads. A few comments also question whether the listing is actually an Air rather than a Pro, so the exact model should be verified before heading out.

  • The $900 price ending in .00 can reflect a store-specific clearance markdown that Costco warehouses treat as their best in-store pricing.

  • The deal can still be worth checking in the Costco app because stock status may not match reality on some prior deals.

  • A 512GB SSD configuration can support heavy multitasking workloads when paired with 16GB RAM, including running many Docker containers and Plex.

  • The listing appears to be the silver SKU, which helps shoppers confirm they are targeting the correct color variant.

  • 512GB SSD storage is repeatedly flagged as too small for common pro workflows like Lightroom, Photoshop, and offline LLM use.

  • The .00 clearance price is described as a needle-in-a-haystack situation that may be limited to the last one or few units.

  • 16GB RAM is also flagged as insufficient for those same pro workloads, with 32GB suggested as a more realistic baseline.

  • The Costco app stock status has been wrong on multiple occasions for prior deals, which can complicate timing a purchase.

I've seen Costco mark down new units it's clearing out. They marked the M1 Mac Studio way down.Example https://slickdeals.net/f/17006776
That is different anything that end in .97 is a mark down approved by the manufacturer. The ones that end in .00 are by management. Bro you are telling me?. I ran the electronics department for 6 years.

512 gb is laughably small for a laptop unless you are just web browsing...
I thought you guys were mad about 256GB. When have we moved to 512 as being laughable? Why stop there? 1TB is pretty restricting, too.

This post should be taken down. This is not a YMMV deal. No store is going to replicate this price. For once whoever did this markdown broke the costco and apple agreement. Costco is not supposed to mark down apple items unless is a unit that was used as a display when Apple doesn't send demo units. Two, most managers when they do mark downs on display models they do anywhere from 10% to 30% so no store is going to match another. Please take this down because nobody is going to replicate this price. How do I know?. I ran a costco electronic department for years.
Can you get AppleCare+ on display models?

I checked most Costco's in the South Bay area, California. Found a couple at $1349, one at $1299, most are $1499
May I ask which store has $1299 one? Thank you in advance.

Who keeps anything on your laptop these days? When you have terabytes of Nas storage and more options.. you only need something on your laptop while you're working on it. And I have not had the issue of working on anything more than that for the moment.

You have to seriously be doing a lot of video editing or gaming. And those type of situations you probably have fast storage secondary are you using an actual desktop. So are you just one of those people who keep everything on their phone and their computer forever and ever? That's the way Apple likes it
