I like the smaller load for using Batteries like the EcoFlow.

I have a 1500w heater that I put on low (750w usage) to exercise my generator. I had no idea if that was a good idea or not, so thanks for the confirmation!

I bought one of these over the winter, and while it is hard to describe - I just didn't like it. Somehow it managed to be both too hot if you were closer than 10-12" to it, but too cold if you were farther than that. Thought it would work for basically keeping my feet warm at my desk but it somehow never worked out. In contrast I also had a more traditional 8" fan space heater which I had zero complaints with.

If these are the same or similar to ones I got from Walmart I do not recommend.

They use a tiny computer fan to push air through which isnt strong enough and is loud.

I have two of these that I keep in my teardrop camper. I use one and I keep the other in the front storage for backup. I use it with a digital thermostat controller to keep the interior at my set temperature. The 500w is perfect and has kept me toasty warm all the way down into the single digits. These units are safe (they get warm on the exterior but not hot enough to ignite anything) and they have a tip switch which will turn them off if they tip over. They're also very quiet. These probably do have a limited use case but they are perfect for what I use them for and $8 is a steal.
