Looking for a kids smart watch for my 9yrs old...Any recommendations ? Apple watch is stylish but does not have camera. Other cheapo smart watches ? they don't look good. This firbit looks nice but looks limited, too. Thank you

I have ticktalk and it works well, we bought the watch on Amazon and are using our tmobile free line for it. We had ace earlier but it broke when the kid dropped it, it was a good watch as well but we had to pay for their plan so we moved to ticktalk

I wouldn't buy these watches again. I expected more from the Google app, but it's missing basic features like geo-fencing. You can't control which games are on the watch or set limits on playtime. School time mode is there, but it only allows one break per day. Overall, it feels like the product is still stuck at the prototype stage

No more Fitbit watches for me. Failed 2 watches immediately right after warranty time between 13-16 months. Temu watches are better off and at least they show time.

I've had 4 of these. Currently have 2. Kids lose and break stuff. No, they're not perfect, but they were the best available when I put them in service a couple of years ago. Better than giving younger kids a cellphone IMO. BTW, this price is not spectacular. The last time I bought one I paid about this.

Edit: just looked it up. I paid $112 last month from Amazon.

I went with Samsung Galaxy watch for my 10 year old. It has a standalone "kids mode" so you can set it up for them to use without a phone and do restrictions via Samsung Wear and Google family link apps. It also gets them a real phone number unlike this Fitbit where anyone who wants to talk to them has to install a Fitbit app to do it. All the other ones for kids besides this Fitbit look like toys, so I didn't want to do that either. The only downside on the Galaxy Watch is to set up the kids mode I had to specifically have a Galaxy phone/tablet that ran on OS 5.something (I think) or higher for the setup part.
