I'm finding a better deal on Tiktok shop for different brands like Vevor.

Vevor and Gearwrench are way different. I own Vevor garden tools and their rebranded tool carts, but i would't trust the sockets they rebrand.

Yeah, I don't doubt it. I'm a DIYer. I have Vevor sets that I use with my Rgid impact wrench and I've never had a problem. Here's the one I was talking about. Last week it was like $29. It's $35 now. For the same price as your Gear Wrench I can get 2 sets of Vevor. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP9YgjegAPJvg-6Odj0/

I have this set. I use it for any job not just impact wrenches. Just remember, it doesn't come with hand wrenches. That Vevor 1/2" set is a monster (love it).

I got the red box 50 piece 3/8 set and the black box 65 piece 1/2 set. I want to get some swivel sockets but I haven't had a need since the sets come with swivel adapters. I just want a more shallow swivel set.

This is a great little set. Keep in mind it doesn't come with ratchets. At this price I might pick up another one just to keep in the truck.

The main difference is that Vevor is chrome Vanadium. Gearwrench is Chrome Moly. Chrome Moly sockets have thinner walls while Cr-V sockets look uncircumcised. Realistically both function fine, Cr-V sockets are chunkier so I've heard some people suggest the extra mass helps them with nut busting, but Cr-Mo sockets will fit more places. On top of that the GW have a lifetime warranty.

These Gearwrench sockets are on sale for almost exactly what the comparable Harbor Freight Quinn set sells for when it's 35-40% off. I actually picked up the Quinn for $55 earlier this year when it was on instant savings and 35% off, but that's a unicorn sale. Both sets are virtually identical, both Cr-Mo and of similar quality. Both have a lifetime warranty although if you live near a harbor freight the Quinn is going to be easier to service. The only difference I can see is that the gearwrench includes a 21mm deep well socket which is a really common lug nut size and the Quinn has a few more adapters.
