Go buy a new private company branded Wegner Synergy on eBay for $25 or a Targus drifter II for $35

While I can respect those who might find the price of this bag a bit high, I will say (for those not familiar with them) Thule does make a really good product. I currently own a couple of their backpacks and they genuinely are good bags. Admittedly, I didn't pay $100 for either of them (one was given to me from work and the other I got on a really good Slickdeal from BestBuy for like $30, iirc). Zero complaints with either one.

I also own Tumi backpacks and slings that have costed in the multiple of $100's (excellent bags as well), and just looking at the size and features of this Thule bag I certainly would say this isn't a bad price especially when compared to the Tumi's (and certainly considering Linus charges a good $170 and $250 for his bags respectively).

Anyone who has this have comment on how breathable the air-mesh back/straps are?

This Thule backpack has sternum straps while those two you mentioned do not. Not important for everyone but it will be for some.

If this style of pack is your thing, Osprey is far superior. And I like Thule products.

I have both as well (and others). I wouldn't say one is superior to the other, I think it just comes down to application, personal fit, and preference. I do think the Thule tends to be more durable and I think a lot of people think Osprey physically fits them better (they fit me worse).

Does it have a spot to attach to a luggage handle?
