I'll never understand why people use (or even care) about the smart features on TVs. They are often slow, laggy, and lack the frequent support you get from pretty much ANY major independent streaming device. I haven't even logged in to a single smart TV I have owned in years because the first thing that I do is plug in a streaming device.

Which smart features? I got a vizio on black Friday and I had to create a vizio account but that's all. No need for a Walmart account that I'm aware of.

Their TVs are cheaper than others because YOU are the product. All of your preferences and viewing habits and shopping habits are sold to other people and that's how they make up the difference.

I bought this months ago for a space that requires this size. (It's not meant for top of the line viewing). For $178 I can't complain. The more expensive Hisense it replaced had gone out. The picture is better than the Hisense. I'm using a Roku stick, and aside from the Roku or TV having to be rebooted from time to time it's been fine. $148 is a great price. And I think Walmart owning Vizio is actually a good thing. If these TV's were going out all of the time, Walmart would be wasting too much of its own time and energy with returns and warranties. Good luck.
