I dropped the blender pitcher to my old ninja. Even though it's plastic it went everywhere. This might be a good alternative--just start over with the newer model. I don't know if that much has changed in the world of Ninja blenders though to justify it.

I bought it myself and while the pitchers and jars are definitely plastic - they are super thick so I don't think they will break easily. Honestly the entire thing feels that it's of good quality and this is from someone who has owned those smaller nutribullet/chinese knockoff and operated professional blenders in a university kitchen. Plus Costco's legendary customer return policy so you can't really go wrong here...

Too bad it's members only. I'd splurge at this price, but I don't have a Costco less than an hour away so no reason for me to have a membership unfortunately.

If you have Zelle and are comfortable with paying upfront, I could order it and just have it shipped to your house.

Excellent blender with useful accessories. Although I have a Cuisinart processor, I use my blender version often for smaller jobs. Great deal!

Went to Costco and picked it up today. Came home and used it straight away. It's a beast! Much more powerful and robustly built than my 1100 watt version it just replaced. Excited to have a food processor too.

No, this is a costco exclusive plus it has more attachments, 100w more powerful and is probably more advanced with the selectable blending programs.
