I don't think this deserves a thumbs down. At this point, this price is frequent enough that you could argue it's essentially normal... Not msrp, but pretty typical if you don't need to buy it instantly. Let's put it this way... Inflation aside, you'll get another shot at this price and rarely even a bit lower. Now if you want it, might as well buy it at this price.

I have tried the $30 ones from Amazon to help lift a washer. It barely lifted up and then the squeeze handle seized and wouldn't move.

So strange. The $8 clamps are practically the same thing, but reverse threaded and smaller fee, and those can clamp down hard...
