Purchased but then cancelled order. This doesn't look like it will substitute in as a replacement lower blade on a select cut pair (the green blades). This is apparently only for single blade configurations. Not sure if it would replace a select cut pair outright.

Aren't you supposed to leave the one blade and just replace the second blade with this one? I don't think they ever sell it as a set. I could be wrong though.

They do sell either a set or individual blades. This blade appears to have holes aligned with the axis of the blade but the select cut blades have their holes offset at a ~30 degree angle

I got very tired of my Ego blade going dull fast. They are just too soft. I switched to a MaxPower's 33121EGB and have been very happy. Edge retention is much better, it gives a cleaner cut with minimal stray pieces of grass. It is heavier, 2.1 lbs vs 1.8 lbs, so my battery doesn't last as long, but that's a small trade off for me.

$20 is very high to sharpen a mower blade. 5 to 10 would be normal price. at least where I live.

At home using a dremel. Twice a year and the blade is sharp as ever. Just remember to balance the blade after each sharpening.
