Who makes a good non-subscription, continuous recording camera these days?

These are great for things like a garage. That's where I have mine. They look great and track great. And no BS subscription that costs you more than the camera is worth in less than two years.

I've purchased two of these in the past 5 weeks for outdoor use. They are only 1080p, but I actually much prefer them to the Eufy 2K Outdoor Cams I had before. The night vision in these cams are pretty brilliant, as it looks like daylight almost. My 2k Eufy cams struggled to get anything that was more than say 30 ft away at night.

Also, these are super cute. They spin 360 degrees, and they come with stickers with animal faces on them.

The negative: the cord length is likely the shortest I've ever seen Eufy include. May be impossible to mount outside or indoors up higher than 5' unless you buy an additional cord or an extender.

Another thing too, if you use these indoors and want to communicate with your loved ones - these have a "call" button that you press once and you stay on a call with the camera until you "hang up". The other cameras, every time you wanted to say something you have to hold down a button like a walkie talkie, and that button often lags to respond, or just doesn't work, and you have to do that for every thing you want to say all over again. This new one makes communication much more easy.

Anyways, big thumbs up for these devices so far.

How does this compare to the E220 in terms of durability?

Have an E220 outside, above the garage, but when it's too cold, it just doesn't want to connect or show it has power. Could be failing, but other times it works perfect.

Does anyone know how you could set this up to record on an offsite Synolgy via tailscale?

Didn't Eufy have to pay like $450,000 for failing to secure consumers' camera data?

FYI, this cam won't work with Home base and requires a memory card to be useful.

This is literally in the description. Compatible with HomeBase Mini and HomeBase 3 (not HomeBase 2 or HomeKit).

Not the guy you're responding to, yes they had a privacy issue. Linus Tech Tips cut their advertising relationship with Eufy because of the company's initial bad response.Beyond that, if you want to buy one, I'm sure you're capable of an internet search yourself.
