"Yes, you can extend a paid Bitdefender subscription if it still has remaining valid days, as long as it isn't a trial version or an NFR (Not For Resale) promotional subscription. There are two main ways this works:

  • Purchasing a new subscription from https://www.bitdefender.com/en-us/consumer/ automatically extends an existing matching subscription in your account, provided the total combined validity does not exceed 3 years.
  • Activating a new code identical to your current subscription (same plan and number of users) will give you the option to extend your current subscription, as long as the total validity does not exceed 5 year.
    Also found this...Your subscription starts as soon as you purchase it online, not when you activate the code in your Bitdefender account. The countdown begins immediately after your order is placed.

You might recheck your sources. Your last comment about an online order immediately starting isn't accurate. https://www.bitdefender.com/consu...er/106172/. As long as the renewal code is for the same subscription you now have, entering the code will give you the choice of either etending it or starting a new one
