This Solati cordless clipper and beard trimmer kit stands out as a budget grooming set with solid build quality and strong battery performance. It is praised for clean beard trims, reliable head shaving, and a sturdier feel than cheap plastic, with the smaller trimmer also working well for travel and the larger clipper handling regular cuts. The main drawback is limited beard guard length, and a few reports describe reliability problems after weeks or months. It is a practical low cost kit if the included sizes fit your routine.
Common Questions (5)
They're described as sturdy, with more weight than cheap plastic and batteries that hold up well. At around $18, multiple users call them a strong value and say they'd buy them again.
It can, but the code may initially apply incorrectly or only take off $3.30. Refreshing at checkout reportedly makes the full promo apply, and the code has been confirmed working at the lower price.
Yes. The big trimmer gives good results for head shaving, and the smaller precision trimmer works well for beards. Several users also describe the kit as solid for the price and suitable for frequent use.
The kit's included beard length options are limited, with one user noting only 4mm for beard use. WAHL combs reportedly fit the clipper, which can cover larger sizes not included in the box.
Some units reportedly develop issues after a few months, including a small trimmer that shows full charge but won't run and a clipper that turns itself on and won't switch off until the battery dies. Those reports suggest checking the set soon after purchase while it's still returnable.
