R* taking over is not a good thing. The game had been dropping in price under N. Now that R* has taken over they are switching from a true physical copy to a new red case code in a box. If you want physical snatch up the N published edition at $25 cause there isn't going to be a physical edition soon.

I bought it digitally day 1 and was happy to do so. One of my favorite all time games and was a dream come true as a huge western fan.

I have no idea whether Rockstar would go the code-in-box route or whatever and I agree that it would not be a good change if they were to, however the reason the physical has come down in price so much is specifically because there was a re-print of the game published by Rockstar instead of Nintendo, the latter of whom refused to budge from a standard price of $50 on this and $60 on the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy and was stingy when it came to offering sales on either, especially for physical. Meanwhile Rockstar took over the publishing duties for both titles on new physical re-prints and released them several months ago and has offered them at significantly lower price points (~$30 each regular price) than Nintendo did or was ever seemingly inclined to do. Have to be fair and give credit where it is due when it's a positive thing. And if they go and subsequently follow through doing something negative then they will similarly be criticized for that as well.
